OK, Millennials, here's your chance to shine and help build the unit. A few months ago, I attended an indoor reenacting unit recruiting event at the Army Heritage and Education Center. ( If you are not familiar with "AHEC," I urge you to check out their website: www.facebook.com/USAHEC/ .) One of the other units had, on their table, a laptop computer. The laptop ran a loop of pictures of the unit at events, and offered a way to type in a request for information on the unit and to capture the requesters's contact information. I am looking for computer savvy help to set up a similar recruiting tool Note, I am not looking at linking this to the net, (although it's something to consider), but to capture the contact info of interested folks by having them type it in. In my mental picture of this, the loop of photos, (us at events, war time photos, graphics etc., would be accompanied by a musical track; "Erika," "Prussians Gloria," "Alt Kammeranden," etc. (No, not the Panzer song.). Note, we can have more than one of these so we don't have to worry about getting it to and from events. Any body out there in a position to help?
